MICRODERMABRASION THERAPY

Microdermabrasion is one of the more recent skin-care techniques to have crossed over from Hollywood to the mainstream. It’s being advanced as an “instant facelift” — an effective alternative to costlier and more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, chemical peels, and Botox injections.

Microdermabrasion is a painless, noninvasive, skin-rejuvenation procedure using a combination of a fine abrasive tip or crystals and vacuum suction applied to the skin. Microdermabrasion works by removing a few of the top layers of the skin called the stratum corneum. Much like brushing your teeth, microdermabrasion helps to gently remove “plaque” and skin debris.

IMAGE CHEMICAL PEEL

A chemical peel is used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. When you come in for a chemical peel, we’ll use a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled.
